Power to be shutdown on Muharram in Islamabad

Today when I was reading News Paper I got an stunning news regarding Islamabad in which clearly mentioned about the power shut down. For me its unusual thing to know that, "First time in history of Islamabad we are going to face Load shading in Winter.

Here is the Complete Detail of the news which was printed in the Daily Jang today's Islamabad/Rawalpindi edition.

The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) on Tuesday announced power shutdown for various areas of Islamabad on Muharram 8,9,10,11,12 and 13 due to construction and annual maintenance works.


According to Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) schedule, the power will be suspended on Wednesday December 15 from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm at Feeder Abbasia Market, Sector F/8 Markaz while on Dec 16 from 8:00 am to 12:30 pm at feeder Madeena Markeet, Sector F 8/2,on Friday from December 17 from 8:00 to 4:00 pm at Feeders M secretariat , CBR,PM staff colony ,Blue Area ,OGDC,COMSAT, Saudi Embassy and its residential areas on Saturday December 18 from 8:30 to 12:30 pm at feeder New Azeez choke,sector F10/1,Sunday December 19 from 08:00 to 04:00 at Sareena,Hotel complex, on Monday December 19 from 08:30 to 12:30 pm at feeder Al-Mustafa Tower,F8/2,1 and F8 Markaz.
